After taking off from work for the trip to Alaska, it was near imperative for Karen to work this weekend, Birthday or not. Steve went to the Arts Center for Saturday Open Studio and at the end of the day presented Karen with a pendant crafted from silver and Alaskan opal. It looks like the view from our window at Alyeska Lodge! We had dinner at Limey’s Pub including Guinness. Limey’s had a map of the London Underground and that prompted CJ to tell tales of London!

It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
