Since sometime in January or February we have had Monday lunch with Vivian. We’ve missed a few when we or she was out of town but we’ve been quite faithful. The remarkable thing is that the restaurant was always within easy walking distance of her office and we never went to the same place twice. In fact there were still several choices left. We hope she will be able to continue the tradition, it was one of the highlights of our week.
With Karen’s sister, niece, and her family we visited Stotfold England to walk in the footsteps of ancestors and to explore a lovingly restored historic water mill.
To meet up with some family members for the weekend, we headed north to explore Ely one day then Lavenham the next, two incredible historic communities.
As we begin venturing into Central London we explore Primrose Hill,the Victoria Memorial, the Gatti Ice House at the London Canal Museum, and the HMS Belfast with more adventures to follow.
