Back in 1973 we drove into Las Vegas, got a tankful of gas, drove up The Strip, snapped one photo, then drove out of town and hurried to Hoover Dam to catch the last tour of the day. This time we booked a room at The Excalibur on The Strip, had a delightful dinner at the Irish Pub in New York, New York, and wandered through several of the resorts both old and new. We loved the Chihuly glass and the dancing waters at the Bellagio. Maybe next time we’ll take in a show but this time we just really enjoyed watching the spectacle that is Las Vegas.
