Saturday and Sunday were days to hobnob with friends at the coffeeshop, visit the El Dorado Art Show at the elementary school, and to enjoy food and fun with family. Ryan, Jana, and Megan drove up from Albuquerque to spend Saturday night and Sunday with us. Of course we had to participate in the family tradition of several hands of multiple “solitaire”, an activity from which Steve & Bill routinely abstain.
Imperial War Museum
London’s Imperial War Museum in Southwark founded even as the First World War raged offers insights into the myriad costs of the wars of the 20th and 21st Centuries. It was a most disquieting but valuable reminder of the myriad costs of war.
