Home Cooking

Family

Today we continued what seems like the never ending process of unpacking the study, unpacking boxes, finding homes for our stuff. One of the things that we learned today is that if we want a seat at the 11AM Mass at St Mary’s in Sylva, that we must leave home by 10:30AM. We’ve been cooking at home for every meal since we arrived here on Wednesday. Tonight’s Stuffed Pork Chops was our fourteenth consecutive home cooked meal! We’ve been concentrating on comfort food like Chicken & Dumplings, Eggs & Bacon, Chicken Noodle Soup. After two years of living downtown and four months on the road, it tastes good to be making our own food.
