A Trip to Asheville

Family

Only a friend who had once lived and worked in Haiti would be thrilled to be your guest when there’s no place to sit down in your house and would choose to sleep on a sofa with no cushions! That’s our Blythe. There are so many facets to our friendship, one of which is that she is a weaver. So we made a trip to a weaver’s mecca, Earth Guild in Asheville. While we were there we attended Mass at the very beautiful St Lawrence Basilica and drove home via the Blue Ridge Parkway.
