The living room floor is installed, the furniture is back in place, life in the house is getting back to normal and now it’s time for Rebecca to go home, with some mixed emotions. But she’ll be glad to be closer to basic services back into the big city. At least she and her mother have a full belly of local foods from the farmers market and the fishmonger in town. It was a very yummy lunch!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
