We have two rules. 1. Drive back roads. 2. Stop when something looks interesting. As we left Hot Springs NC we set the GPS for Hot Springs VA. The route took us through Greeneville TN where we found something that looked interesting. So we stopped at Andrew Johnson National Historic Site to explore the home of the 17th President of the United States. We spent enough time there that we needed to find a nearby campground. We booked three nights at Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park.
