Chasing Wild Geese

Road Trip

We wanted to visit the Adams Historical Park in our quest to visit as many American Presidential sites as we can. So on Monday after Greg & Rachel went to work we headed out on our own for the 45 minute train ride to Quincy Center only to find out that the park is closed for the winter. We did have some good clam chowder at Blue 22. Then on the ride home we got the call that the car was ready, that we should ride all the way to Alewife and wait for the courtesy van. After a half hour wait in the rain out ride arrived and took us to our repaired Trailblazer. Stopped for some dinner makings then back to Greg & Rachel’s cozy place where Greg & Steve made a wonderful Cranberry Blueberry Pear Pie.

We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
