Glorious Day in the Mountains

Family

A busy fun autumn day covering all the aspects of why we love living here. Started the day with a trip to Farmer’s Market to pick up our farm share box. Also got some homegrown indian corn, home baked pumpkin bread, hand crafted mozzarella cheese, and locally grown chicken eggs. With help from another Steve we trimmed all the grass around the house and took down a tulip poplar tree to improve the view of the distant mountains. Also went to the street fair in Waynesville where we partnered with friends to demonstrate spinning and to raise funds for special needs children. Home again for dinner of local acorn squash stuffed with local sausage, greens, onions, and apples. What more do you need?
