Remembering Bill

Family

Our neighbor and friend Bill Watson passed away today. He and members of his extended family have been residents of our cove community for decades. Our friendship with him was mostly limited to the delightful cove tradition of visiting in the road as one or the other of us was entering or leaving the cove and we or he and his wife Pauline were working near the road or taking a walk along the road. Everyone who knew him spoke of Bill in glowing terms. Our mutual friends extend well beyond the cove out into the community and even down to Florida. He was a World War II veteran, a gentleman, and a wonderful person. We will miss him.
