Soup on a Gloomy Day

Family

Today was a day of mixed reviews. We had some frustrating technical problems related to migrating our website. The weather was gloomy. Yes we need the rain, and it’s a wonderfully slow soaking rain. We made wonderful things happen in the kitchen. The bushel of Macintosh apples are becoming applesauce and we made a delicious soup with lots of local ingredients including tomatoes  from our plants and grass fed beef from just one county away. Love eating local!

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history.
