Spent the weekend with Dave and the girls. Got some one on done time with our son and with each of our granddaughters. Did some crayon art, read stories, tickled, knitted together, cooked together, played ball, played in the autumn leaves, watched tree climbing, and more. The very best part of the weekend was seeing Peyton run to her bedroom at bedtime because she was so excited about spending her first night in a big girl bed!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
It was wonderful having you up to visit. Peyton is still excited about sleeping in her big girl bed and makes a nightly sprint down the hall when bedtime rolls around.
