The day after Christmas Gary and Peter had to leave us and the rest pitched in to either prepare a St Stephen’s Day feast German style (Thank you, Phil) or to haul firewood from the lower acres up to the wood pile alongside the driveway. Then in the evening Dave, Riley, and Peyton arrived! It was the very first time all nine of us have been together. And we all enjoyed it immensely.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
I love to see those bearded faces! I can see you continue to enjoy each other’s company. God bless each of you + those three lovely additions!
