Ten Thousand

Family

Ten Thousand…It’s just a number yet it evokes all sorts of thoughts and memories for us. First of all there’s Ten Thousand Waves, the Japanese Spa in Santa Fe where we have on a few occasions indulged in luxury. And there’s Ten Thousand Villages, the not for profit retailer that markets fair trade crafts from around the world. Not to mention the ten thousand genealogical images that we have collected over the last four decades and have posted in Research Files on our Thole Family Tree on the website that Greg wrote recently. And now there’s ten thousand steps per day. It’s a fitness goal. We’re working on it. Currently we’ve been walking more than six thousand steps per day at the walking trail at the Jackson County Recreation Center.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens
