Family

We were among the very last passengers to debark the Ruby Princess so we had plenty of time for breakfast and last minute visits with other members of our group. And then once we were off the ship we had plenty of time to amuse ourselves while waiting for the Escot/Cruise Connection bus. We did end up on the bus as Ed and Jean Elizabeth, as well as Midge and JP. Sandy V. was waiting for Ed and JE and Michael was waiting for us. We six had a great gabfest and as Sandy later said, “It was the most fun I’ve ever had in a WalMart parking lot.” Our dinner of microwaved mac and cheese was no match for the fabulous meals we had had aboard the Ruby Princess.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
