Ramble Remnants

Road Trip

Today was a good day for a big breakfast, local eggs, Amish bacon, toast made from Annie’s bread, and stone ground grits. The sad part of that was it was the last of the grits that we got at Falls Mill on our Tennessee Ramble. Something in us wants to go back and to gather up some more of the good things to eat and drink that came home with us that time. We’d like some Pearl wine from Grinder’s Switch, some Gentleman Jack from Lynchburg, and hominy grits from Falls Mill. If it’s from a neighboring state does that qualify as local?
