Signs of Spring

Family

Without getting too optimistic about it, we are beginning to see signs of Spring. We’ve had a few days this past week that were warm enough in the afternoon to warrant opening the glass doors and letting some fresh air into the house. It’s a bit strange to have a fire in the wood stove and open doors! And there are the harbingers of Spring, the pansies and the daffodils that are showing off their cheerful blossoms. Actually the first of the daffodil blossoms opened just this afternoon. Then there is the Mack truck parked in the driveway. The winter rains have let up enough for the neighbor’s road project to recommence. None of this of course means that there will not be more winter weather but for now we will enjoy signs of Spring.
