Plans changed this morning. We learned that Karen’s Dad had made an early morning trip to the emergency room so instead of heading to Largo to help Gary with his house project, we headed to Zephyrhills. We spent the morning and early afternoon with Karen’s mother and dad. No definitive answers on why dad’s not feeling well but he was home by late morning. Did give us a good opportunity to play double solitaire with a formidable partner though.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
