Leaving Sally’s

Family

Our good friend Sally gave us an incredible gift. She gave us use of her home while she was summering in Michigan. It was such a comfort to come “home” to her comfortable place, so whimsically decorated, in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the quiet haven so much during our stay here in Pinellas. Today we finished packing and cleaning and by early afternoon we were on the road heading north. We used Yelp to help us find a delightful restaurant in Lake City because we had the time to pause and enjoy a sit down meal. Wow! Their grilled vegetables side was fabulous! And we used another app to make reservations for a hotel in Tifton GA for the night.

Wicked The Musical

In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
