IMG_5406Among the tasks that we’ve been involved in as part of transitioning Gary to home is helping him sort through some of his possessions that have been packed away in boxes and putting them away in appropriate places. One of the treasures that we uncovered today is a very large birthday card that we presented to him many years ago in our just barely post-college years. In those days we had a saying, not especially socially acceptable, that involved the bluebird of happiness. It brought smiles to all of our faces when it came out of a box and found a new home in his office.
