Spent the evening on Treasure Island. We met friend Ed at Sloppy Joe’s at the Bilmar. Draft beer and the classic Sloppy Joe sandwich. Yum! Then on to Woo Woo’s Tkik Hut. Danced in the sand to “Sea Cruise”. Ed offered to take pictures of a group of tourists then posed with them for more pictures. From there we proceeded to his digs and got to meet the gargoyles that protect his impressive paperback treasures!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
