Home is Where the Knight

IMG_6579No new home truly looks settled until the art is on the walls. Dave has a nice collection of art work from his travels One that particularly speaks of his interests is the gold rubbing of a knight taken from tomb of a Crusader. When we hung that one on the wall today this place suddenly looked like David’s home. We continued on with the cleaning, putting away, assembling, searching for the lost bunk bed hardware while we chased Dave out to a quiet place for study. Early evening we joined him for a dinner at a local ice cream parlor. Then while we went back to camp to rest our weary bones he had another opportunity to study this evening.
