Perhaps our little patch of golden daffodils beside the stream, beneath the trees, is not the host of ten thousand of which William Wordsworth wrote, but they do make our hearts dance with joy when each year they herald Spring!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
I do love spring!
Yesterday we spotted one of our Dogwoods in bloom. Then today we saw the first blooms on the Redbud we planted last year.
