It’s been a great gathering of friends and family enjoying food and drink and conversation. It’s an annual reunion, puzzle fest, turk’s head knot craft workshop, feast, and celebration. This year we had folks traveling from Florida, Louisiana, and Ohio to be here as well as myriad friends from the local area. If the count is correct, we were forty-seven people and one dog. We really enjoyed this mingling of folks from different segments of our life all coming together to enjoy one another on this beautiful almost summer evening.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
