Deck Day Prep

Family

Been working on The List for days. After strawberries and cream, bagels and cream cheese, and more than a bit of coffee, we all got into gear to set up the canopy, move furniture from Creekside, make the BBQ sauce (and taste it), and more. Still need to make a beer run and smoke the pork but we’re at a good place in the run up to party day. Only wish B&D were able to participate. Our prayers go out to you.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
