We are camped in Winton Woods, a delightful county park in the north central area of Cincinnati. We’ve been camping here on visits to Cincinnati since about 1990. It must be along a geese migration flyway. We’ve many many times seen flock of geese flying overhead. Today we watch a pair feeding near our campsite before the serenaded us just before flying off.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
