Too Quiet

Family

This morning we had a last coffee klatch of our Deck Day Week gathering. Our wonderful weeklong house guests have been our A Team and without them we couldn’t have hosted Deck Day with the same grace and style as we did. In the process we’ve continued the process of family becoming friends and friends becoming family. After coffee this morning we eased into to the divvying up of leftovers and the packing up of vehicles. Lots of hugs and plans for future visits both here and there. We were not ready for the fun to end. It’s too quiet here! The deck is lonely.

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history.
