Just crossed the Red River thus crossing the border from Texas into Oklahoma. Notable landscape features near the border seen to be vast golden fields and casinos. We’re headed to Wichita Mountain National Wildlife Refuge today. Then toward Santa Fe by way of Amarillo, Tucumcari, and Albuquerque. Sound anything like Route 66?

Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
