As we were leaving Locust Grove yesterday afternoon we noticed dark storm clouds almost overhead. The Accuweather app confirmed that a large storm front was bearing down on us. We watched the radar as we drive and even pulled over for a bit and in fact missed the worst of it. But then another front came through in the wee hours of this morning. We awoke to the sound of hail on the roof. It continued to rain for the next few hours. We decided that our best bet for breakfast this morning was the friendly service and good food at Waffle House!
