We continued to poke our way up the Pacific Coast Highway enjoying the sights and the geocache searches, hiking, and gazing at the awesome Pacific. Early afternoon we happened upon a KOA and made a quick decision to stop for the night. That way we can defer the decision about when to turn east and leave the Pacific coast behind us. We’re not yet ready for that.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
