We’re camping at a KOA on Monterey Bay between Monterey and Santa Cruz. Much cooler here. We changed into jeans and donned light jackets for the easy walk to Phil’s Fish Market and Eatery for a lovely seafood dinner complemented with wonderful vegetables from the Salinas Valley. Back in camp, after a walk on the beach, we introduced ourselves to some fellow teardrop campers and discovered that not only did we have similar interests but we knew some people in common! We may have to make a trip to Spring Branch to see the ’56 Chevy they’ve restored.
