Steamboat & Strawberry

2014 West then East, Colorado, Road Trip, States

We enjoyed a leisurely morning in camp listening to the rushing of the Yampa River next to our site before going into the town of Steamboat Springs for lunch, a bit of geocaching, and a little shopping. We finished our day in a most relaxing manner by soaking in the waters of Strawberry Park Hot Springs!

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
