Thanks to Jana we’ve finally, on our third visit to the Black Hills, visited downtown Rapid City, City of Presidents! It was a delightful evening. She met us at the KOA where we got to show her our T@B then on to a delicious meal at Tally’s Silver Spoon, a trip to the Prairie Edge Trading Co. to see some incredible beads and Prairie Edge Hunt, an amazing paper sculpture, a chance to pose next to multiple presidential bronze statues, yummy ice cream from Silver Lining Creamery, excellent conversation, and a successful geocache find! As we were ending the visit dark was descending on the city and from our campsite we could look down on the lights of the city and the fireworks of the Mount Rushmore patriotic light show!

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

Wicked The Musical
