Well, today didn’t go quite the way we’d planned it but due to Steve’s diligence we did make some progress. We have been wanting to add more stepping stones around the hot tub. We made a trip to Bryson’s, got four stones, put them amid the existing stones and decided we needed more. Another trip to Bryson’s, four more stones, more hefting and digging, and it’s as done as its going to get today. Another day we’ll refine the placements and decide if more stones are needed, in the meantime its time for wine and cheese. We still have a little of the Nebbia wine from California and some Amish cheese from Ohio! Life is good!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
Speaking of stones, how is the thyme around the front walk doing?
Good question! Guess that one deserves it’s own post complete with photo1
