We drove to Canton this afternoon for a visit with Dave and a meal with him and Amy. It was good to get hugs and to get updates on what’s going on in their lives. Then we came back to Atwood Lake Campground and introduced ourselves to some T@G owners camping nearby. Their camper is just a little bigger and a little fancier than the Silver Shadow camper that we had until we got our T@B last year. We spent a pleasant evening with John and Nancy trading camping stories and comparing notes on our similar campers. We’re looking forward to more fun times with them this week!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
