Peach Pie and Steak & Eggs

This morning we had peach pie for breakfast. It was supposed to be our dessert Friday night at Dutch Valley in Sugarcreek but we’d had no room for it after the Amish buffet.

Then this afternoon after church we treated ourselves to steak and eggs at The Mad Batter in downtown Sylva as we pondered the changes to our community in the twelve weeks we’ve been gone. Among the changes: new neighbors, a new pastor, a fire in a downtown business. All things we’d been aware of but still need to wrap our heads around. Change happens and sometimes good food helps us adjust!
