Sixty-five years after next door neighbors Bud and Cathie were married in Cincinnati, their six kids and their spouses and a handful of their dozen grandkids gathered in Zephyrhills to help them celebrate. Under the direction of Fr. Hayes they renewed their marriage vows on Sunday morning. Then on Sunday evening we all gathered at a local restaurant for a delicious meal, a video presentation that was reminiscent of the slide shows we used to love as kids, and numerous toasts to the happy couple.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
