From Zero to Two!

Road Trip

Saturday night Lynda and Ben arrived bearing bottles of red wine. As we prepared to open the Bordeaux, we were chagrined to discover that we couldn’t find the corkscrew that we “knew” we had in the kitchen drawer. We prevailed upon the good graces of a neighboring camper twice that evening to pull corks for us, On Sunday we addressed this deficiency and purchased a new corkscrew. Today we found the one we actually did have in the kitchen drawer! So we have gone from having “zero” corkscrews to having one too many!

One for red, one for white! Now you need a 3rd for Grenache, but Champagne requires no cork pull, so you can stop at 3!

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
