Early Wednesday morning after a wonderful weekend with family, we packed up and stowed all our luggage and treasures in the bed of Eric the Red and headed north to Tween Creeks. We and Lou and Bill have traveled together before. Our first road trip together was Arlington, Texas to St Petersburg, Florida back in The Spring of 1977. That time we had to make frequent stops to stretch our legs because Karen was pregnant. This time we made frequent stops to stretch our legs and search for geocaches. One of the searches took us into historic downtown Micanopy. Two of us have traveled this stretch of I-75 countless times over the last few decades and this is the first time we have actually visited this wonderful Old Florida town. We paused for coffee and wonderful pastries at Mosswood Farms Cafe. We can already feel it calling us back again.
