The Full Set Up

Road Trip

IMG_3067.JPG
We debated whether to encamp at a state park near Weymouth or the KOA near Plymouth but once we read the reviews online we opted for the KOA. We booked a multi-night stay and then proceeded to do the full set-up. We have the screen room/tent on the side with table, two chairs, two side tables, rug, lamp, and candle lantern and in back the ten by ten canopy with our one sling chair, coffee table, rug, prep table, and overhead light. If we are going to be here for several days we may as well max out on creature comforts!

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
