Once more we made the trip from Middleboro into the heart of Boston to visit Linus and his parents. This time we needed to run an errand for them first so we did some extra walking (Our Fitbits liked that!) and along a different route than yesterday. Along the way we got a floral arrangement for the new family and attracted a bit of attention as we walked the streets with flowers in hand! It was another great opportunity to cuddle Linus and to watch him snuggle with his parents. We made a trip to the cafeteria and brought food back so we could sit around the bedside table for a family dinner. It is so wonderful to watch our son and Rachel, who we have known since her high school years, becoming parents!

We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

Wicked The Musical

Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
