Linus and family arrived at the house on Redwood Street today, a beautiful sunny Autumn day. He has spent his time enjoying cuddles by parents and grandparents and the chance to nap on a chest or two. Meanwhile the adults are addressing issues like laundry and groceries. Soon they will be setting up a temporary nursery downstairs, baking cookies, and preparing a supper of Cincinnati Chili from the store of frozen meals Rachel prepared in anticipation of this time. Life is good and will only get better.

National Portrait Gallery
