Sixteen years ago five of us from St Paul’s Parish made a trip to Haiti under the auspices of Beyond Borders to learn about the culture of and conditions in that country. Shortly thereafter Partners with Haiti was organized to promote development in the parish of St Isidore on the island of LaGonave. In the intervening years the members of PWH made significant contributions to the well-being of the people of LaGonave. Tonight they are being honored as Ministry of the Year at Celebrate St Paul’s. We are with them in spirit and pray that they may continue to share their love and resources to bring about positive change in this corner of the world.

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
