What You Do…

Our version of New Year’s resolutions is to live New Year’s Day deliberately in the belief that what we do on that day, we will do all year long. So yesterday we danced, enjoyed libations, spent time with family and friends, finished a knitting project and gifted it, were helped a friend, we laughed, we enjoyed good food, and more. Perhaps the magic can continue into today for more dancing, more friends, making plans, and enjoying life! May your New Year hold much promise!

Caligula at Strawberry Hill

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
