Celebrating Two Seconds

Family

(null)
In the last few years we have had the distinct pleasure of getting to know Steve’s second cousins Sue and her brother Dick. We have visited Sue in Toledo a few times and she has visited us in at our mountain house. And we’ve visited Dick in Metairie on a couple of occasions. This time we got to visit with both of them together at Dick’s home. It is an honor for us to know these folks and to learn more of our family history from them. They truly enrich our lives. Oh, yes, and the reason why we are all in Metairie this weekend is to celebrate their birthdays. Sue was born on her brother’s 10th Birthday!

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history.
