And Free Coffee Too

Road Trip

We spent the night at the KOA in Whyteville VA. We arrived early enough to have enough daylight to allow us to transfer our stuff back into the T@B. (We’d had to disassemble the bed, empty the wardrobe, and remove most of our kitchen equipment before we’d dropped her off at the factory.) We choose KOA when we want to know that the facilities will meet a high standard. We enjoyed a level site, quality hookups, clean restrooms, a well stocked store, and even complimentary coffee!

Quality hookups, does that mean you got to test the grey and black water systems?

We’ve tested the fresh water and gray water systems and both are working appropriately. The portable black water system (Porta-Potty) continues to perform well. Thanks for asking!

We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
