I-40-E in NC

Road Trip

We’re traveling a familiar route this morning but for a different reason. Usually on this section of highway we’re getting close to home often at the end of a long day of travel. Today our total driving time will be just over an hour. We’re heading to a KOA west of Asheville to rendezvous with friends for a three day weekend! And we’re fresh enough to want to search for the cache: The Less-Used End of the Rest Area at the NC Welcome Center.

Ha! That song about bottles on a wall comes to mind. Enjoy your rendezvous. I hope your weekend weather there, is drier than it’s forecasted to be here.
