It’s been a great weekend with family and friends. Friday afternoon we visited Bud & Cathie and got a tour of the place they now call home. That evening we enjoyed an Italian dinner and lively conversation with Patti, Mark, Mike, and Lynette. Saturday morning we enjoyed an omelet breakfast and some old family memories. That evening was a quiet dinner with Patti, Mark, and Rebecca and a run to Kroges for some Graeter’s. Sunday we celebrated our 400th Geocache find! We capped of this great weekend with a festive dinner at Alice’s where met her friend, Bill. On of the delights of the evening was a visit with Edward and a chance to see some of his recent inventions including his robot eyes!
Winter Magic in Medina
By deliberate choice we were in Medina for all the winter holiday festivities from Candlelight Walk in the days before Thanksgiving through A Christmas Carol and A Celtic Christmas as well as an Alex Bevan Concert and a historic house tour all the way through Medina’s 31st Ice Festival but perhaps the highlight was the town hosting hundreds of folks whose homes and lives were devasted by Hurricane Helene at the A Promise of Christmas Event the middle of January. It’s an honor to be a part of this amazing community!
Mark and I are going to the museum today to see his robot eyes in action. We’ll try to post some pictures later.
