Dancin’ in the Street

Road Trip

What fun! It’s the Wine and Cheese party! We all brought a local wine or craft beer from home and sampled some wonderful stuff. DJ Dave set up and played a nice selection of tunes. We did a little dancing but a hit of the party was Gretchen and friends dancing The Electric Slide!  That’s now a Tearstock Tradition. Another delight these evenings at Tearstock is meeting the families of these great men who build our trailers. Tonight we talked with Joe and Ina, with Brian and his family, tomorrow Marvin and Ed are bringing their families. We never realized when we bought our Silver Shadow in 2009 that we were becoming a part of such a beautiful community!

In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
